Jonas films often explore the relationship between people, objects, and environments, finding beauty in simplicity and meaning in carefully observed moments. Rather than relying on spectacle, Jonas creates work that feels precise, immersive, and emotionally resonant.
Jonas breakthrough came with the music video for Pantha du Prince’s Jupiter’s Delight, filmed on the Mongolian steppes together with cinematographer Maximilian Pittner. Released by Nowness, the film received international recognition for its quiet, cinematic exploration of time, space, and repetition.
Since then, Jonas has continued to develop a body of work spanning fashion, luxury, music, and narrative film. His film for Hermès H08 received multiple nominations at the Berlin Commercial and the Berlin Fashion Film Festival, while his short film 1608 premiered at the Malta Film Festival.
Today, Jonas is based in Paris, where he continues to create visually distinctive films that combine conceptual clarity with understated emotion.
His clients include Hermès, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Biotherm, Ami, Swiss, Smart, and Pantha du Prince.
